Supplications for Ashoora

in

Recite the following Salaat, dua’as and Ziyaarat, after Fajr Salaat, but before Zuhr Salaat.
-Salaat of Four raka`áts, divided into two prayers, in the following manner:
a) First prayer: In the first raka`a, after Súra al- Hamd, recite Súra109 al-Káfirún In the second raka`a, after Súra al-Hamd, recite Súra al-Ikhlás.
b) Second prayer: In the first raka`a, after Súra al- Hamd, recite Súra 33 al-Ahzáb . In the second raka`a, after Súra al-Hamd, recite Súra 63 al-Munáfiqún

اعمال روز عاشور
ثم تسعي من الموضع الذي أنت فيه ان كان صحراء أو فضاء و أي شي كان خطوات تقول في ذلك
a )Take a few steps Forward and then Retrace your steps to where you began.
…
Say the following while you are moving forward and backward ( ie 7 times )
إِنَّا لِلَّهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ
Verily we are Allah’s and verily unto Him we return.
رضا بقضاء الله و تسليما لامر
We are happy with His will and carry out His command
:ثم قل
Then go back to your place where you are standing and recite:
اَللّٰهُمَّ عَذِّبِ الْـفَجَرَةَ
O Allah! Condemn and punish the licentious profligates
الَّذِيْنَ شَاقُّوْا رَسُوْلَـكَ
who make the life of Thy Messenger miserable
وَ حَارَبُوْا اَوْلِيَآئَكَ
and waged was against Thy close friends,
وَ عَبَدُوْا غَيْرَكَ
and worshipped others, (but ) not Thee,
وَ اسْتَحَلُّوْا مَـحَارَمَكَ
deemed lawful (that which) Thou had forbidden,
وَ الْعَنِ الْقَادَةَ وَ الْاَتْبَاعَ
bring a curse upon their leaders, followers, on those who were in them,
وَ مَنْ كَانَ مِنْهُمْ فَخَبَّ
secretly or distinctly were hand in glove with them,
وَ اَوْضَعَ مَعَهُمْ اَوْرَضِىَ بِفِعْلِهِمْ
or condoning their (mis) deeds
لَعْنًا كَثِيْرًا
a great many curses.
اَللّٰهُمَّ وَ عَجِّلْ فَرَجَ اٰلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
O my Allah, bid to bring joy and happiness quickly for the progeny of Muhammad,
وَاجْعَلْ صَلَوَاتِكَ عَلَيْهِ وَ عَلَيْهِمْ
bestow Thy blessings on him and on them,
وَاسْتَـنْقِذْهُمْ مِنْ اَيْدِى الْـمُنَافِقِيْنَ الْـمُضِلِّيْنَ
save them from the dangerous clutches of the undercover two-timers,
وَ الْكَفَرَةِ الْـجَاحِدِيْنَ
and the obstinate disbelievers
وَافْتَحْ لَـهُمْ فَتْحًا يَّسِيْرًا
open for them the doors of “the beginning”,
وَ اَتِحْ لَـهُمْ رَوْحًا وَ فَرَجًا قَرِيْبًا
a facility to put in practice gentleness, kindness and fairplay
وَاجْعَلْ لَهُمْ مِنْ لَّدُنْكَ عَلٰى عَدُوِّكَ
create favorable conditions for them to make life full of love and thought, cheerful, free of care, as early as possible,
وَ عَدُوِّهِمْ سُلْطٰنًا نَّصِيْرًا.
on Thy authority let them have full control over Thy enemies, to help, rescue and defend (mankind).
:ثم ارفع يديك و اقنت بهذا الدعاء و قل
c) Then raise your hands, having in mind the enemies of “Aale Muhammad”, and say:
اَللّٰهُمَّ اِنَّ كَثِيْرًا مِّنَ الْاُمَّةِ نَاصَبَتِ
O my Allah! Indeed a great many among the people declared war,
الْـمُسْتَحْفِظِيْنَ مِنَ الْاَئِمَّةِ
laid traps and intrigued against the careful and gentle guardians
وَ عَكَفَتْ عَلَى الْقَادَةِ الظَّلَمَةِ
who observed and fulfilled the duty.
وَ كَفَرَتْ بِالْـكَلِمَةِ
The ungrateful (opponents) renounced the faith and did not, in fact, believe in the “Kalimah”
وَ عَكَفَتْ عَلَى الْقَادَةِ الظَّلَمَةِ
attached themselves to the trend setters of disorder and tyranny
وَ هَجَرَتِ الْكِتَابَ وَ السُّنَّةَ
disowned and gave up the Book and the (Divine) rule of life
وَ عَدَلَتْ عَنِ الْـحَبْلَيْنِ
swerved from and angled off the two strings which according to Thy commandment,
الَّذَيْنِ اَمَرْتَ بِطَاعَتِهِمَا
(they) should have held fast and stuck close by
وَ التَّمَسُّكِ بِهِمَا فَاَمَاتَتِ الْـحَقَّ
undermined and twisted the truth
وَ حَادَتْ عَنِ الْقَصْدِ
Went, away from the real purpose, in the opposite direction
وَمَالَأَتِ الْاَحْزَابَ
encouraged partisanship;
وَ حَرَّفَتِ الْـكِتَابَ
Altered and falsified the Book
وَ كَفَرَتْ بِالـحَقِّ لَـمَّا جَائَهَا
refused to believe in the evident proof and rightful claim,
وَ تَـمَسَّكَتْ بِالْبَاطِلِ لَـمَّا اعْتَرَضَهَا
whenever confronted face to face; chose falsehood,
وَ ضَيَّعَتْ حَقَّكَ وَ اَضَلَّتْ خَلْقَكَ
whenever came across lost their way and corrupted Thy laws, Islam; led people astray;
وَ قَتَلَتْ اَوْلاَدَ نَبِيِّكَ وَخِيَرَةَ عِبَادِكَ
killed the children of Thy Prophet, Thy liberal high-minded servants,
وَحَـمَلَةَ عِلْمِكَ وَ وَرَثَةَ حِكْمَتِكَ وَ وَحْيِكَ
bearers of Thy knowledge, inheritors of Thy wisdom and revelation, the Book.
اَللّٰهُمَّ فَزَلْزِلْ اَقْدَامَ اَعْدَآئِكَ
O my Allah, upset and overturn the plan and movement of Thy enemies,
وَ اَعْدَآءِ رَسُوْلِكَ وَ اَهْلِ بَيْتِ رَسُوْلِكَ
(who are also) the enemies of Thy Messenger and the children of Thy Messenger.
اَللّٰهُمَّ وَ اَخْرِبْ دِيَارَهُمْ
O my Allah, put a stop to the spread of their sphere of influence
وَافْلُلْ سِلاَحَهُمْ
make their equipment and men unserviceable,
وَ خَالِفْ بَيْنَ كَلِمَتِهِمْ
their expression confused and contradictory
وَفُتَّ فِىْ اَعْضَادِهِمْ وَ اَوْ هِنْ كَيْدَهُمْ
break up their support; crack up their strategy
وَ اضْرِبْهُمْ بِسَيْفِكَ الْقَاطِعِ
lay hold upon them, hit and cut off by Thy one sharp strike
وَارْمِهِمْ بِـحَجَرِكَ الدَّامِغِ
throw them down, frightened by Thy hard unnerving barrier,
وَ طُمَّهُمْ بِالْبَلَآءِ طَمًّا
bury them under the swallowing mud of disasters
وَ قُمَّهُمْ بِالْعَذَابِ قَمًّا
let them be mean and contemptible under the yoke of despise-able penance
وَ عَذِّبْهُمْ عَذَابًا نُكْرًا
bring them to book and let them have the taste of a hard and sharp retribution
وَ خُذْهُمْ بِالسِّنِيْنَ
fester them with definite and exemplary punishment,
وَ الْـمُثَلاَتِ الَّتِىْ اَهْلَـكْتَ بِهَا اَعْدَآئَكَ
as Thou wipes out Thy enemies
اِنَّكَ ذُوْ نِقْمَةٍ مِّنَ الْـمُجْرِمِيْنَ
it is beyond the shadow of doubt that Thou cracks down upon the criminals.
اَللّٰهُمَّ اِنَّ سُنَّتَكَ ضَآئِعَةٌ
O my Allah, the way of life approved by Thee has been tossed aside
وَ اَحْكَامَكَ مُعَطَّلَةٌ
Thy code of law has been suspended
وَ عِتْرَةَ نَبِيِّكَ فِى الْاَرْضِ هَآئِمَةٌ
and the descendents of the Prophet, in this world, had been tormented.
اَللّٰهُمَّ فَاَعِنِ الْـحَقَّ وَ اَهْلَهٗ
O my Allah, Therefore give all Thy attention and care to signify truth, and the upholders of truth
وَ اَقْمَعِ الْبَاطِلَ وَ اَهْلَهٗ
restrain and prevent falsehood, and the camp-followers of false-hood,
وَ مُنَّ عَلَيْنَا بِالنَّجَاةِ
and take us to safety as a favour
وَاهْدِنَا اِلَى الْاِيْـمَانِ
guide us to true faith
وَ عَجِّلْ فَرَجَنَا وَانْظِمْهُ
make available for us, as soon as possible, happiness and bliss,
بِفَرَجِ اَوْلِيَآئِكَ وَاجْعَلْهُمْ لَنَاوُدًّا
bring everything in to good order through the inspiring presence of Thy representatives;
وَاجْعَلْنَا لَـهُمْ وَفْدًا
make us desire and love them , make them receive us with open arms.
اَللّٰهُمَّ وَ اَهْلِكْ مَنْ جَعَلَ يَوْمَ قَتْلِ
O my Allah, bring to nothing those who celebrate the day of martyrdom
ابْنِ نَبِيِّكَ وَ خِيَرَتِكَ عِيْدًا
of the choicest (grand) son of Thy Prophet, in cheerful amusement
وَاسْتَهَلَّ بِهٖ فَرَجًا
laugh and enjoy in utter delight and indulge in wanton boisterous merriment
وَ مَرَحًا وَخُذْ اٰخِرَهُمْ
catch hold of and punish each one of the remaining, just as Thou cracked down on the early (culprits)
كَمَا اَخَذْتَ اَوَّلَـهُمْ وَ ضَاعِفِ
make twice as much the penalty,
اللّٰهُمَّ الْعَذَابَ وَ التَّنْكِيْلَ
O my Allah, and punishment, a warning example,
عَلٰى ظَالِـمِىْ اَهْلِ بَيْتِ نَبِيِّكَ
(while convicting the tyrants) who took liberties with and abused the children of Thy Prophet
وَ اَهْلَكْ اَشْيَاعَهُمْ
give the earth blow to their henchmen,
وَ قَادَتَـهُمْ
put an end to their headmen,
وَ اَبْرِحُـمَاتَـهُمْ وَ جَـمَاعَتَهُمْ
wipe out their patrons and their groups altogether.
اَللّٰهُمَّ وَضَاعِفْ صَلَوَاتِكَ
O my Allah, multiply Thy blessings generously,
وَ رَحْـمَتِكَ وَ بَرَكَاتِكَ
Thy mercy liberally, Thy favours like a windfall,
عَلٰى عِتْرَةِ نَبِيِّكَ
(thou bestows) upon the children of Thy Prophet,
الْعِتْرَةِ الضَّائِعَةِ الْـخَآئِفَةِ الْمُسْتَذَلَّةِ
who Thy enemies tried to ignore, frighten and corner,
بَقِيَّةٍ مِّنَ الشَّجَرَةِ الطَّيِّبَةِ
the children who are the blooming pride of the fragrant strongly grown and fertile tree.
الزَّاكِيَةِ الْمُبَارَكَةِ وَ اَعْلِ
Let people subscribe to and uphold,
اَللّٰهُمَّ كَلِمَتَهُمْ
O my Allah, their expressed refined (thoughts),
وَ اَفْلِجْ حُجَّتَهُمْ
and get the better of the antagonists in debate and disputations through their arguments,
وَاكْشِفِ الْبَلَآءَ وَ اللَّاوَآءَ
put the dark clouds of trouble, distress nothingness and ignorance,
وَحَنَادِسَ الْاَبَاطِيْلِ وَ الْعَمٰى عَنْهُمْ
to flight, through (on account of) them,
وَ ثَبِّتْ قُلُوْبَ شِيْعَتِهِمْ
make firm and strong the hearts and minds of their followers
وَ حِزْبِكَ عَلٰى طَاعَتِكَ
to belong to Thy party, obedient to Thee
وَ وِلاَيَتِهِمْ وَ نُصْرَتـِهِمْ
to love them; to support them
وَ مُوَالاَتِـهِمْ وَ اَعِنْهُمْ
stand by them, signify them;
وَامْنَحْهُمُ الصَّبْرَ عَلَى الْاَذٰى فِيْكَ
they exercised self-control whenever they put up with damage and injury in Thy cause;
وَاجْعَلْهُمْ اَيَّامًا مَّشْهُوْدَةً
bring in, for them, the days, people will see them and find them among themselves to pronounce the profession of true faith,
وَ اَوْقَاتًا مَّـحْمُوْدَةً مَّسْعُوْدَةً
a blissful and happy time
تُوْشِكُ فِيْهَا فَرَجَهُمْ
Be quick in providing relief and joy, after a long period of suffering,
وَ تُوْجِبُ فِيْهَا تَـمْكِيْنَهُمْ
on account of their presence bring on their worthy, decent and refined sphere of influence
وَ نَصْرَهُمْ كَمَا ضَمِنْتَ لِاَوْلِيٰآئِكَ فِىْ كِتَابِكَ الْـمُنْزَلِ
and support them as Thou has given a guarantee in this connection in Thy revealed Book
فَاِنَّكَ قُلْتَ وَ قَوْلُكَ الْـحَقُّ
Thou said, (and Thy words are always true)
وَعَدَ اللهُ الَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْا مِنْكُمْ وَ عَمِلُوا الصّٰلِحٰتِ
Allah has promised such of you as believe and do good deed
لَيَسْتَخْلِفَنَّهُمْ فِى الْاَرْضِ
that He will surely appoint them successors in the earth,
كَمَا اسْتَخْلَفَ الَّذِيْنَ مِنْ قَبْلِهِمْ
as He appointed successors those before them,
وَ لَيُمَكِّنَنَّ لَـهُمْ دِيْنَهُمُ
and that He will surely establish for them Their religion
الَّذِى ارْتَضٰى لَـهُمْ
which He has chosen for them,
وَ لَيُبَدِّلَـنَّهُمْ
and surely He will give them in exchange
مِّنْۢ بَعْدِ خَوْفِهِمْ اَمْنًا
safety after their fear.
يَّعْبُدُوْنَنِىْ لاَ يُشْرِكُوْنَ بِىْ شَيْئًا
Thy (shall) ascribe nothing as partner unto Me.
اَللّٰهُمَّ فَاكْشِفْ غُمَّتَهُمْ
O my Allah! Therefore disperse the dark clouds hanging over them,
يَا مَنْ لاَّ يَـمْلِكُ كَشْفَ الضُّرِّ اِلاَّ هُوَ
no one has power to keep safe from fear and distress save thee,
يَا وَاحِدُ يَا اَحَدُ
O Unique ! O Single !
يَا حَىُّ يَا قَيُّوْمُ
O Everliving ! O Self-subsisting!
وَاَنَا يَا اِلٰـهِىْ عَبْدُكَ الْـخَآئِفُ
I, O my Allah, Thy bondman,
مِنْكَ وَالرَّاجِعُ اِلَيْكَ
cautions and (always) aware of Thy just requital,
السَّآئِلُ لَكَ
turn to Thee with a request,
الْـمُقْبِلُ عَلَيْكَ اللَّاجِئُ
standing before Thee, to seek the favour of taking refuge with Thee,
اِلٰى فِنَآئِكَ الْعَالِمُ بِاَنَّهٗ
in Thy courtyard, fully aware of the fact that
لاَ مَلْجَأَ مِنْكَ اِلاَّ اِلَيْكَ
there is no way to run away from Thee except unto Thee.
اَللّٰهُمَّ فَتَقَبَّلْ دُعَآئِىْ
O my Allah, accede to my request,
وَاسْـمَعْ يَا اِلٰـهِىْ
take notice of
عَلاَنِيَـتِـىْ وَ نَـجْوَاىَ
my expressed statement and heartfelt secret avowal,
وَاجْعَلْنِىْ مِـمَّنْ رَضِيْتَ عَمَلَهٗ
and let me be the one whose conduct satisfies Thee,
وَقَبِلْتَ نُسُكَهٗ وَ نَـجَّيْتَهٗ
(whose) pious life devoted to Thee receives Thy approval,(whom) Thou brings to a place of safety
بِرَحْـمَتِكَ اِنَّكَ اَنْتَ الْعَزِيْزُ الْكَرِيْمُ
through Thy mercy, verily Thou art rare, dear and beloved (because of) Thy kindness.
اَللّٰهُمَّ وَ صَلِّ اَوَّلاً وَ اٰخِرًا
O my Allah, send blessings, in the beginning and at the end,
عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّاٰلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
on Muhammad and on the children of Muhammad
وَ بَارِكْ عَلىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَّ اٰلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
keep at peace at all times, Muhammad and the children of Muhammad,
وَارْحَمْ مُحَمَّدًا وَّ اٰلَ مُحَمَّدٍ
let Thy love and tenderness always envelop Muhammad and the children of Muhammad,
بِاَكْمَلِ وَ اَفْضَلِ
more thoroughly and decisively than
مَا صَلَّيْتَ وَ بَارَكْتَ وَ تَرَحَّـمْتَ
Thou had blessed, kept at peace and loved
عَلٰى اَنْبِيَآئِكَ وَ رُسُلِكَ
Thy Prophets, Messengers,
وَ مَلَآئِكَتِكَ وَ حَـمَلَةِ عَرْشِكَ
Angels and the bearers of Thy Arsh,
بِلَآ اِلٰهَ اِلَّآ اَنْتَ
in the name of and for the sake of “LAA ILAAHA ILLAA ANTA”.
اَللّٰهُمَّ لاَ تُفَرِّقْ بَيْنِىْ وَ بَيْنَ
my Allah, let there be no separation (ever)
مُحَمَّدٍ وَّ اٰلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
between me and Muhammad and the children of Muhammad,
صَلَوَاتُكَ عَلَيْهِ وَ عَلَيْهِمْ
Thy blessings be on him and them
وَاجْعَلْنِىْ يَا مَوْلاَىَ مِنْ شِيْعَةِ
let me be one among the friends and followers
مُحَمَّدٍ وَّعَلِىٍّ وَّ فَاطِمَةَ وَ الْحَسَنِ وَ الْحُسَيْنِ
of Muhammad, Ali, Fatimah, Hasan and Husayn,
وَ ذُرِّيَّتِهِمِ الطَّاهِرَةِ الْـمُنْتَجَبَةِ
and their pure and select descendants;
وَهَبْ لِىَ التَّمَسُّكَ بِـحَبْلِهِمْ
give me the insight to cling to their friendship,
وَ الرِّضَا بِسَبِيْلِهِمْ
and be always ready to walk with them,
وَ الْاَخْذَ بِطَرِيْقَتِهِمْ
and make use of their life style;
اِنَّكَ جَوَادٌ كَرِيْمٌ.
Verily Thou art liberal, Generous and Kind,
:ثم عفر وجهك في الأرض و قل
Now go into prostration (Sajdah), keep either side of your face on the earth, one after the other, and say
يَا مَنْ يَحْكُمُ مَا يَشَآءُ
O He who decrees that which He wills,
وَ يَفْعَلُ مَا يُرِيْدُ
does that which He wants
اَنْتَ حَكَمْتَ
It is Thou who possesses and exercises absolute power
فَلَكَ الْـحَمْدُ
therefore (all) praise is for Thee (only)
مَـحْمُوْدًا مَّشْكُوْرً
(Thou alone art) the praiseworthy, the thankworthy.
فَعَجِّلْ يَا مَوْلاَىَ
O my Master, let them
فَرَجَهُمْ وَ فَرَجَنَابِهِمْ
have a life full of love and peace, and let us share the harmony and bliss with them,
فَاِنَّكَ ضَمِنْتَ
because Thou has given a guarantee
اِعْزَازَهُمْ بَعْدَ الذِّلَّةِ
to put them on the highest pedestal of love, honour and wisdom, after the severest trial and tribulation,
وَ تَكْثِيْرَهُمْ بَعْدَ الْقِلَّةِ
to do too much for them , exceeding all bounds,after they had put up with the worldly minimum (in Thy cause),
وَ اِظْهَارَهُمْ بَعْدَ الْخُمُوْلِ
to make them distinct and evident after (Thy enemies) kept them in obscurity,
يَا اَصْدَقَ الصَّادِقِيْنَ
O the Most Truthful !
وَ يَا اَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِـمِيْنَ
O the Most Merciful!
فَاَسْئَلُكَ يَا اِلٰـهِىْ وَ سَيِّدِىْ
I beseech Thee, O my Lord, and Master,
مُتَضَرِّعًا اِلَيْكَ
humble and weak before Thee,
بِـجُوْدِكَ وَ كَرَمِكَ
to throw wide open doors of Thy generosity and kindness
بَسْطَ اَمَلِىْ وَ تَـجَاوُزَ عَنِّىْ
to let my hope (of fulfillment of heart’s desires) come true, and get and gather what I want in surplus
وَ قَبُوْلَ قَلِيْلِ عَمَلِىْ وَ كَثِيْرِهٖ
and make valid my deeds, whether insignificant looking or weighty,
وَ الزِّيَادَةَ فِىْ اَيَّامِىْ
prolong my days
وَ تَبْلِيْغِىْ ذٰلِكَ الْـمَشْهَدَ
until I am satisfied with being an eye-witness, and give testimony,
وَ اَنْ تَـجْعَلَنِىْ مِـمَّنْ يُدْعٰى فَيُجِيْبُ اِلٰى طَاعَتِهِمْ
and be among those who are called upon, so run to obey them,
وَ مُوَالاَتِـهِمْ وَ نَصْرِهِمْ
love them and support them (the descendents of the Holy Prophet)
وَ تُرِيَنِىْ ذٰلِكَ قَرِيْبًا سَرِيْعًا فِىْ عَافِيَةٍ
Make me see that very soon, close at hand, in good health sound mind and with believing heart
اِنَّكَ عَلٰى كُلِّ شَىْءٍ قَدِيْرٌ.
Verily Thou art able to do all things
:ثم ارفع رأسك الي السماء و قل
raise your head, look towards the sky and say
أعوذ بك
in Thee do I seek refuge
أن أكون من الذين يرجون أيامك
that I should be among those who hope not for Thy “Days”,
فأعذني يا الهي
so make me full well and be there,
برحمتك من ذلك
O my Master, through Thy mercy, in that time.
